After studying history, Philippe Bachelier
lived two years in Nigeria. His
first pictures have been published in newspapers in 1986. He first realised features and portraits for Le Monde, Télérama, L'Équipe
Magazine,
Le
Figaroscope, Los Angeles Times, etc. He now also collaborates with publishing houses and advertising.
He shares his passion for B&W photography by writings articles for French monthly magazine Réponses
Photo.
He wrote a book that became a reference on this topic

In 1999, he created the studio B&B, with
Frédéric Buxin, to optimize his activities in both film and digital techniques.
